Children's groups on Sunday

We are passionate about children and young people and our desire is that they should be able to grow up knowing that God made them special and loves them very much! We want Sunday mornings to be an enjoyable experience and in all of our children's groups the emphasis is on fun and friendship with leaders who show love and an enthusiasm for living life with Jesus.

From 10:30 am, all the primary school aged children start off together for their own time of high energy praise, along with quizzes, competitions, exchanging news and enjoying each other's company. (Apart from the 1st Sunday in the month where we all worship together.) The children then go off with their leaders to their appropriate group for munchies, activities and Bible stuff. The following groups are available during our Sunday morning celebrations:

	Mini Milks  ~ Preschool Babies and toddlers have care and fun together with staff to love and play with.
	Zoom  ~ Reception & School Year 1 Games / craft / stories and action from the Bible with a little daftness thrown in by Goliath the cuddly Guinea Pig.
	Rockets  ~ School Years 2 & 3 Growing up as important members of God's family is the message the 5 and 6 year olds are experiencing in this lively group.
	Twisters  ~ School Year 4 Activities, games, creative Bible teaching (and the consumption of chocolate and biscuits) to set the 7 year olds up for another week following Jesus.
	Magnums  ~ School Years 5 & 6 Such creativity and enthusiasm . . . and that's just the staff! Walking with Jesus together and having fun is top of the agenda.
	Feast  ~ School Years 7 - 9 Secondary school children face brand-new challenges. Living out their faith as they embark on the next stage of life's adventures is explored a little deeper with this lively (and rather chatty!!) bunch.
	The Edge  ~ School Years 9 - 11 Teens from year 9+ have a varied programme; sometimes staying in with the adults for the message, sometimes having their own meeting where they explore the deeper issues of life, the universe and donuts. This group is led by talented and enthusiastic leaders who are skilled at bringing out the best in a teenager. We also believe a person grows more as they serve others, so The Edge members are given opportunities to help out with the younger children's groups and/or occasionally lead worship for the adults with 'The Edge Band'.
